Separation anxiety at night?
So Jacen thankfully has always been very easy to put down for bedtime and after his night time feeding.
However for the past month, after his night time feeding, when you put him down in the crib... he cries. Sometimes after a few cries, he'll go to sleep on his own. Sometimes he won't and we have to pick him up, cuddle with him and rock him for a bit before trying to put him down again. However the length of time to do this seems to be increasing. Sometimes you have to try 2 or 3 times before it sticks.
Is this a touch of separation anxiety? How long is this phase (which phase haven't we been through) going to last?

I don't have any advice, sorry! But just wanted to give you some bumps so you don't have to have a conversation with only yourself

Gavin will sometimes give us a hard time at night (last night!) and we'll have to keep going in. I know for him it depends on how tired he is- like some nights he is exhausted and falling asleep during his last bottle. Other nights it seems like the is the energizer bunny and never wants to go down On those nights I try to keep him up a little later and wear him out.

Re: Separation anxiety at night?
We've been dealing with this the past 2 weeks as well
Still no end in sight But if we try to let her CIO she starts to climb out of the crib
She will sleep through the night in her crib once she falls asleep next to me - I usually put her in her crib once I know she is fast asleep.
Last night she woke at 3:30am and tried climbing out again because she wants to be next to me. Needless to say - she got sleep - Mommy not so much
