My son has super sensitive skin and eczema. i am not sure what sunscreen to use this summer. I don't want to chance irritating his skin, we've just recently got it pretty under control. any recommendations?

Alba Botannica is one of the few that doesn't bother my daughter's eczema. We also started using Bare Republic when we can't find Alba Botannica and it seems ok.

The Alba Botannica Very Emollient SPF 45 Lavender sunscreen is our gold standard for DDs rashy allergic skin. I buy a bunch on Amazon at the beginning of every summer.

I get Think Baby from Amazon. Everything else we'd tried in the past triggered dd's eczema.
I would also check out the recommendations from ewg.org and the national eczema association.

DS's allergist recommended Blue Lizard, but I usually stick to Coppertone or Banana Boat and he's never flared from either.

Aveeno. I used to use think baby and then all of a sudden it started irritating DD. At least the aveeno is cheaper!
I would look at the reviews on Lucie’s List. She has a great section on summer stuff.

My DS's both have sensitive skin and we always use Coppertone water babies pure and simple. Never had an issue and they've used it since they were babies. They are 9 and almost 7 now.

Love this stuff! Has to say Pure and Simple though. there is another one that looks exactly the same but isn't the pure and simple.

Yes! Definitely pure and simple. The bottles look almost identical so just make sure.

Re: sensitive skin sunscreen
You may have to trial and error. My dd is super sensitive and a lot of the above-mentioned bothered her. Anything with zinc oxide she had a reaction to, so we could only use sunscreen with titanium dioxide for awhile. It cost us a fortune and a half! By age 5 she could tolerate think baby.

I have a feeling this is going to be us....EVERYTHING irritates his skin.
I am going to start with the Aveeno sensitive skin since i saw it in target and see what happens.
