sensitive paws
Does anyone have a dog with sensitive paws? Bella is constantly tearing her paw pads. The vet gave us spray to put on before she plays but it doesn't help. When she is on grass it is fine, but any harder surface, she tears up her pads. The other day she was running in the tennis courts for less than 5 minutes and her paws were raw!! We don't know what else to do. We have also tried booties, but they lasted all of 30 seconds.

Re: sensitive paws
We have a salve that we use on Charlie's paws and it works really well. I noticed last year when it snowed and he would run around that there were some red spots on the snow and his paws were getting scraped.
I don't have the name of it, but it's a blue plastic tin and it's really good. It's safe for carpeting, and it doesn't make him sick when he inevitably licks his paws.

I would do my best to keep her off concrete.

It6's called mushers. We just got it for porter. It's like 15 bucks a jar but it's good and you only need to use a little bit. Once in the morning, you rub it on their pads and nails and in between the toes and it works really well

We got it from Toni's grooming and training. She is our dogs trainer in West Babylon. I am not sure if you can get it at petco or something but you can look online. Or even at petmeds.com or Fosters and smith. Try looking there too.
