Sending a shower gift question
I was invited to a wedding shower in Florida which I cannot attend, but I want to send a gift. The couple is registered at Macy's. I recall when I was registered there, I could have entered an address to have gifts shipped to (like a parent's house, MOH, etc). There is no such option on this registry. So, do I just send the gift to the couple's home (they live together, in FL)?
Thanks!

But that's the thing - no address comes up when I go to purchase/send the item. It just asks me to enter a shipping address.

Re: Sending a shower gift question
Is the shower a surprise? If not I would send to the bride and grooms house. If it is a surprise I would send it to the mother of the bride's house and have her bring it to the shower.

I don't know the mother of the bride or her address (we are related to the groom's side) and I don't know if the shower is a surprise. It doesn't say it is on the invitation.

Is there an RSVP phone # or emaill address? I would just ask whoever is throwing the shower.

Sending a shower gift question
If you choose to ship, it will automatically go to the address the couple listed when they made the registry. Even if it is a surprise, the only thing that a gift would tell her is that invites went out- not a big deal.

But like I said above, there is no "ship to" address on the registry - which seems pretty strange. It asked me to enter a shipping address.

Weird- must've read it wrong and thought you wrote you had to enter a billing address. Most places don't let you see the address you'll be shipping to, but they have the option to send it to the person who registered!! I'd ship to the return address on the invite then- I think a bunch of people who couldn't make my shower sent the gifts to my mom even though my address was on the registry.

Sending a shower gift question
I recently sent one to My cousin through Macys. For the couple's privacy, they did not give the address, only the name of the couple, and they stated that the gift would be sent to the address listed on file. I didn't have their new address... California My cousin got the gift, I got a thank u.
