Semi WR, Bachelorette Party at the wineries
Has anyone ever went to one, hosted one?
I want to do this for my BF, sometime in October.
If anyone has any info, (which vineyards are bets, costs, etc), it would be greatly appreciated!!

I can't speak for costs but as for the wineries, we love Roanoake vineyardss (it's smaller and more intimate). also, Pindar is nice and so is martha clara. But those two are bigger.

I had mine at Martha Clara Vineyards last August. We did a private tasting and a carriage ride through the vineyards. It was a lot of fun!

We just did this - we went through LIVineyardTours.com and had a great time. They book VERY quickly, especially summer weekends, so book far in advance. We went to 4 vineyards in a stretch Hummer and had lunch included, too.

We just did this - we went through LIVineyardTours.com and had a great time. They book VERY quickly, especially summer weekends, so book far in advance. We went to 4 vineyards in a stretch Hummer and had lunch included, too.

Such a good idea...I wish I had done this. I saw lots of Bachelorette Parties when I went to the wineries...they looked like they were having a blast

I did this for my bach party. We got a limo for 22 girls and did:
Pindar
Bedell Cellars
Pugliese
and
Martha Clara
By the time we got to Martha Clara I couldn't even taste what was white and what was red, LOL.
In the limo we had cheese and crackers, sandwich wraps, chips and pretzels plus water bottles and soda. We also played games on the rides between and my MOH gave out "p*nis related items" - keychains, flashlights, pens, sunglasses, plastic nose all in the shape of a p*nis.

You're welcome!! Definitely get the lunch - it's worth it! The menu sounds so simple, but it really was delicious - and I'm picky!
