Selling stuff on Craigslist?
I have several items I have just listed on Craigslist.
I put I would accept cash only & can meet in the town I live & work in...
now, where would I meet them? Would it be safe to have them come to where I work, or should I go more generic?
I am clueless...LOL!

I would be uncomfortable having someone come to my work place so I would pick a store or something like that.

I just sold something on Craig's List and had the buyer meet me at work. In retrospect, I think that was REALLY dumb, because if this person is a whacko, he/she now knows where I work!
Meet somewhere generic like a gas station.

I had about 20 people come look at my stuff from my old apartment
I had them meet me at the apartment- since I no longer lived there- I didn't care if they came back and robbed the place
actually- that would have been better- since I still had insurace on the place
but everyone was awesome- I got lucky
mostly girls came for my stuff

I recently bought formula off of Craigslist and met the woman at the local supermarket parking lot. She was willing to drive it to my home, but not knowing her or if it was actually "legit" I felt most comfortable meeting her there.

i've sold several things on CL- tickets, furniture, even a car. We've always met in a shopping center.
