Seen any creative Halloween costumes?

I came home today and couldn't help noticing all the creative costumes donned by adults these days.

I passed by a fart cushion, a big banana, an unshaven little red riding hood and a few naughty cops wearing short shorts and furry boots.

Even the bus driver took me by surprirse with his scary clown makeup. Almost made me scared to board the bus!

One of the directors at the pre-school my kids go to wore a red skirt suit and glasses and carried a baby doll. She kept saying "You betcha!" and "I can see Russia from Wantagh!" Chat Icon

I wore my glasses, a hockey jersey, red lipstick, my DH's Alaska baseball cap from our honeymoon and carried a toy pit bull and my brother's toy rifle from when we were kids.

I saw a 'cereal killer'. Chat Icon He had on black pants and a black long sleeved shirt. Then a cardboard box around him w/ different boxes of cereal pasted on the big box. Then 'blood' dripping all over the boxes and a plastic butcher knife. I actually got what he was right away- but it was the ONLY creative costume I saw all night. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I teach near the Fame school in Manhattan and they have a HUGE Halloween blow out! I saw three girls dressed up at tetris pieces! That was awesome!

I also saw a rubix cube and a cell phone. I thought those were inventive!

But, I saw a beautiful clown!

glasses, her updo, bright lips, GOP buttons, one had a plastic rifle slung over her shoulder, the other one was swinging around a noosed moose, etc.

These were young teens, maybe. 11, 12, 13 or so?

Re: Seen any creative Halloween costumes?

I went out in an area of Fort Lauderdale last night called Wilton Manors that has this huge street party called Wicked Manors. Wilton Manors has the largest gay population next to San Fran. We had a blast and saw some of the most unbelievable and Chat Icon costumes ever! We took great pics, I'l post some later - well, the ones I CAN post!Chat Icon

ETA - some of the highlight costumes were Borat in that green one-sie bathing suit, Gene Simmons from Kiss, Camel ToeChat Icon Chat Icon (and that was tame compared to a lot) and the Century Village Bridge Club for Obama!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
