We don't do traditional gifts for each anniversary, but I would think clothing would be the simplest option.
(Or, you could get cute and give him a bottle of Gin.... as in "cotton gin"....  )

We got a new set of bed sheets as part of our 2 year anniversary present. We are also purchasing new window treatments for 17 windows in the house but those will be wood.

Today is our second anniversary. We didn't buy cotton gifts, but if I did, I'd probably buy nice sheets. I think the "modern" version of a second anniversary gift is china, but that's not a very exciting gift either.

First: Bass Guitar
Second: Vintage Bass Guitar
Third: Guitar
Fourth: Vintage Guitar
Fifth: Moog Synthesizer
Sixth: Drum Set
Seventh: Piano
Eight Microphone
Ninth: Reel to Reel recorder
Tenth: Vintage synthesizer
So, I will probably buy him a guitar and stuff the inside with cotton balls 
Or you could buy him a tee shirt with a picture of a guitar.

we don't usually do big gifts...because we go away for a long weekend for our Anniversary.
So for our 2nd anniversary I bought him a bunch of stuff from GNC...thats what he wanted
