seat protector for the car?
DD is still rear facing but we are getting a new car and her shoes are messing up the back of the seat in our old car so i want to get something to protect the back of the seats in the new car.
i know its not really recommended to put something in between the car and the car seat so I'm looking for something that could go just on the back part of the car not on the butt part
any recs?

I would get seat covers that are specific to your make and model of car

Take her shoes off when you put her in the car. It's annoying but it's the safest option.

I agree with taking shoes off. That's what I do with my daughter. Another option you can do is After the car seat is installed and completely secure you can tuck a towel over the back of the seat.

Take her shoes off or just wash the seat. I got a new car in July and DS was rear facing until February. My seats are perfectly fine, despite the snow and rain he walked in before sitting in the car. I'd rather a dirty seat than an unsafe baby. Anything you add around the car seat makes it less safe.

I think I have this kickmat. It is not one of the ones with a wire rim.
I just fold it under and it stays that way. You could probably cut it or make something similar, but folding it has worked for me.

That looks similar to what I have. It's too long so I fold it under. Even though it's thin, I don't want to put anything between the carseat and seat.

I bought that exact thing in Toys R Us. I think it came in a package of two, because there is one in my car & one in DH's car. It really does protect the back of the seat.
