Scottsdale/Tuscon Recommendations
We are meeting up with our friends in Arizona. We have been to Scottsdale before but not Tuscon.
Is it worth the 2-3 hour trip to Tuscon? Should it be a day trip or overnight?
I have been to Flagstaff, Sedona and the Grand Canyon previously and do not plan to go north of Scottsdale.
Has anyone done a jeep tour in or around Scottsdale?
I went on a Pink Jeep Tour in Sedona (without kids) and it was fun. Wondering if it is appropriate for kids.

My folks go to green Valley in winter- just south if Tucson. DH and I visited and just went in for dinner and walked around- definitely worth it- don't need to do overnight - but spend the day! There's so much to do all around the area depending on what you're looking for.

We decided to fly into Tucson and spend the day there and drive up to Scottsdale to meet our friends. DS will miss a day of school. I feel guilty pulling him out but it is only 1st grade.
I think my kids would enjoy the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum.
