Sciatica
when does it begin? I swear, I'm walking with a limp, because my back, above my right cheek is hurting soooooo bad. Its been there for a week or so, and I thought it was because of excercsing (but it gives me soo much relief), switched to flat shoes.. nothing. I'm 9 weeks.. isn't it too early?

Re: Sciatica
It's possible you had a condition before you got pregnant. Could be disc herniation. They say plenty of people have them, some notice the pain, some don't so you would never think to get your back checked out.
I am royaly screwed soon, I have 3 herniated discs, 2 of which are pinching the nerve that goes straight down my leg. I got epidurals to ease the pain, and it's worked, but they say it only relieves you for a few months.

I was sleep for the first 2, and the third one I was sedated and still felt the needle...it actually wasn't that bad...and it's the same procedure they do for labor...it really wasn't that bad. I just get scared of needles so I begged for anesthesia each time. the 3rd time it didn't kick in until after it was done lol. But it really wasn't that horrible. It was a pinch.

I guess its the idea.. if it ends being sciatica, I'm hoping to get a prenatal massage every so often.. I read it works wonders..
