sciatic pain
anyone know any tricks to help alleviate this?? it started yesterday and kept me up most of the night (couldnt get comfortable) and it is extremely painful when i walk. i read that it has to do with the babys position and in the third trimester its normal...but i hope it doesnt last until the end

Re: sciatic pain
I've been going to a chiropractor for it. He showed me some stretches plus I looked up some online. I find if I stretch several times a day and ice my right butt cheek, the pain isn't as bad.

sciatic pain
i've had this for the past 4 months. its terrible. one time, the pain was so bad i actually fell, knees first, on the floor from bed because i couldn't get up. DH freaked out. I wish I could tell you that I had some pain relief method, but for me, nothing has worked and my back gets worse each day. I have some good days, so I'm thankful for those. Sleeping isn't even an option, nothing I do helps me get comfortable. I hope you feel better soon!

This is what I'm afraid of!!! I am only 18 weeks and it is really bad!!! I can barely walk sometimes!! I almost feel getting up off the toilet once, caught myself on the counter!!! I really hope this ends soon and doesn't get any worse!!!

sciatic pain
I had it for the last two months of my pregnancy. It got so bad the last three weeks before I gave birth I had to stop working. My OB sent me to do physical therapy but I only did one day of physical therapy because I went into labor the next day so maybe you can try that.
A heating pad and body pillow did help alleviate some of the pain. Some days will be good while others will be bad. I'm sorry that you have to go through this because I know the pain is horrible. I'm sending you lots of hugs!!!

sciatic pain
THE BALL! I swear, the second I have a little twinge of it coming back I sit on the stability ball and poof, it's gone! I had it bad a few months ago, it got progressively worse every single day to the point I got home from work, went to the bathroom, could not pull my pants back up or stand and ended up crying in the hall way until my dh could come and help me out. The next day I brought my stability ball to work and sat on it instead of the chair. An hour later I was like a new woman. Seriously, go get one. Target sells them, they're about 20 bucks. Make sure you get the right one for your height. Good luck and feel better everyone!

Re: sciatic pain
sit on a tennis ball!!! It makes a big difference. I carry a ball around everywhere in my bag. It's hard to bring a stability bag to work
