Do you mean universal prek? The district website lists which elementary schools run it. You can request a specific school but they don't necessary have to give you the one you want.

Check your town's website. May be listed. There may not also be a public prek. I know where I live there's prek for special ed (for kids who were accepted into the program after EI ended) and then there's an integrated class that is mix of kids that ended EI and just needed a little help mixed with kids that got in bc of lotto. The ones who got accepted bc of lotto do have to pay.

My SD has some info on their website. I called the school district to get more info. There are 4 locations for UPK in our district. Only 1 or 2 are in actual elementary schools. I know one is at the Y and another is at Kiddie Academy.

You could post your district on here and I'm certain someone else who lives in the district would be able to tell you whether or not your district has it. If it does, you need to find out ASAP because there are deadlines to registering. Also, a lot of districts only have a certain number of spots in the pre-k and once it is full that's it. My district does first come first served in order to fill the spots meaning you need to have doctors forms filled out, immunizations done, forms filled out and get up to the school the second it opens on the day of registration and stand in a line, other districts do a lottery.
