Scheduled C-Section Moms...
Do we get internals? DS was a scheduled c but was scheduled the day before so this wasn't relevant. I can't figure out which way makes more sense but I'm thinking probably not, right?

I have a scheduled C for the 7th and i got an internal a week ago and i have one tomorrow too along with an NST.

I wonder why?? Maybe they'd move the date up if it seems like you're progressing faster? I have an appt Fri, I'll ask then - ty

I had one internal b.c I was having contractions on and off that week so he just wanted to check me out. I became preeclampsic at 37 weeks and had to deliver DD 12 days earlier than my section was scheduled for so I'm not sure if he would have done any other internals.

My daughter was induced ending up in a c/s, so my son was a scheduled. I only had my initial internal with a pap. I never got another one.
I'm hoping its the same this time around. I HATE internals!

I'm scheduled for Aug 27th but have an appt tomorrow, not sure what this appt consists of but I have a sono and an internal last time to check my cervix

nope, no internals for me, no need for them. and even If I was not a scheduled c - I would be refusing internals

I think it varies by practice but my OBs office does them just in case you are progressing a lot.
