Scheduled c/s mommies second time around

If you have had a pregnancy with no complications, how early were you able to schedule a cesarean? My due date is 9/18. They are being very strict with when I can schedule my surgery, at least 39 weeks and nothing earlier. Problem is, 9/11 is not the date I had in mind. I am so grateful for being able to have a healthy baby, but I just don't want that date. The only other option is the week after, which is my due date week. One of the drs working on that Monday is the one I truly dislike in the practice. And then I feel like I'm getting so close to my due date, I'm scared of going into labor early and having an emergency c/s. I'm so frustrated and I know it's out of my hands at this point. But, is your drs office as strict as mine? I can't even be schedule at 38 weeks and 6 days.

My doctors are letting me schedule anywhere between 4-7 days before my due date

my doc said no earlier than 39 weeks as well (although my DD only made it to 36 weeks- so we'll see if I even get that far)
