scary
my sister just told me someone rang the doorbell and said he was from the electric company and bill had to be paid.
Well um bill was paid and two um the electric company doesnt do that????? So now I'm concerned could he have been a robber/rapist who knows.
She didnt open the door for him and she said she saw him go down the hall probably to the next apartment.
Things like this never happened in my area which is a pretty great area. Should I be worried?
mini update-
so according to my mom this happened over 2 hours ago, so shes saying he's probably gone by now. She doesn't want to call the cops because then they'll just be sitting in my apartment asking her questions, etc. I think what I will do is call the electric company when I get home let them know someone came by, confirm it wasn't someone sent by them, and def. keep my eyes open.

She should call just to alert them to the situation. Who knows they may have already received calls regarding this guy. It may also serve her interests to have a bit of a police presence and dissuade this guy if he has any thoughts of coming back.

this is why I never open my door to strangers. DH thinks I'm a nutcase, but I read too much true crime and I know it can happen anytime/anywhere. So glad she didn't open that door!!!
