Scarlet fever question
We got an e-mail from DD's preschool that a child has been diagnosed with scarlet fever. They don;t disclose what class the child is in. Should we keep her home from school this week?

I would yes....I had it as a child. Its very very contagious...we had to take all my bedding to a quarantine center, because it cannot even be washed off...some of the virus remains.

Thanks for the insights ladies! I did keep her home today and we'll see about Thursday. I hate to keep her out that long but I certainly don't need her sick when I am giving birth next week.
