Scared but trying to find some hope
Hi girls. I am about six weeks and ended up at the Dr. today because I had some light brown spotting. I thought that maybe the spotting was from the progesterone suppositories. The sonogram revealed only a sac and the Dr. sent me for a beta draw and I will repeat it on Sunday. Until then it is a waiting game. I have slight cramping and a little red blood. Has anyone had this happen and maybe everything turned out okay? TIA

I don't have any experience but from what I remember, 6 weeks is still a little early. Hoping that your beta's continue to rise! Keep us posted!

hang in there, I agree its still early to be looking for anything really, bleeding can be normal, I know because my mother said she bled for months, she didn't even know she was pregnant... I came out strong and healthy. Most importantly, stress doesn't help it. So make a cup of tea and relax

Agreed and slight cramping is common. I had it at various stages through my pregnancy. Good luck!

hi melissa -
i am so so so so sorry this is happening to you. it did happen to me, yes & as you can see by my photo - Emma is here & happy & healthy!
i do not remember how far i was along, but i had spotting in the early stages & i went and had a sonogram at my RE's office & they, like you, only saw a sac, no heartbeat. the tech actually told me he'd be surprised if i didn't pass the 'baby'. (later, when i got my RE files in hand, the tech wrote that i would have a miscarriage). I had a beta draw & that number had doubled - so that was my ONLY hope.
i went back a few days later and there was the heartbeat. i can't put into words what seeing that felt like....the day i had seen the tech & he told me that i would lose the baby, i cried that ENTIRE day and didn't pretty much sleep until the wednesday i had the second sono.
the wait was the hardest of my life & i am so sorry that you are going through something similar.
the one thing that helped me the most was when the nurse who called me with my beta number - told me it was a great number - but that i needed to remember that some people spot for NO reason and have perfect pregnancies and others miscarry and don't bleed at all....so there really is no rhyme or reason - it's just all how your body is.

Yup. Happened to me. I bled brown and red for 12 weeks and have a healthy DD! Lots of prayers to you!

I too was spotting & then bleeding a little from about 6 weeks to 10 weeks & DS was born healthy & strong.

It happened to me....I had a subchorionic hematoma and bled from 5wks to 15 wks...sometimes really heavy. I now have to healthy 8 month olds!
