Saw my first HD show
I don't have an HD package right now, but DishNetwork has a feature where you can download shows over your Internet connection. I downloaded an HD History Channel show, just to see what everyone is talking about. Wow! The detail really IS amazing.... I'm still not ready to spend more money on TV for HD, but I can definitely see why people would.....

I never thought HD was anything great. But DH's parents bought us a HD TV and the picture quality is AMAZING!!! I feel like I am sitting on the sidelines when he is watching sports. Totally worth it!

HD is amazing, especially with sports. WE had FIOS HD last year before DH chopped down some trees to get back his Sunday Ticket (Football) on DirecTV and we finally just got HD again(DirecTV still has so many stupid costs for the upgrade)
I must say two things...FIOS HD is MUCH better with the compression quality and SOOO many actresses and actors look like SHIIITE on HD (poor Meredith on Grey's looks horrible)
