FYI, this year, the Macy’s Santaland will require a reservation no matter what (it used to be reservation only if you wanted to do the Santa “fast pass”). You still have the option of doing the whole thing or just cutting across to see Santa, but both options will require a reservation. You can make reservations 5 days in advance. Just thought I’d share so everyone planning to go can get what they need.

That's the way it should be. Maybe now it won't be a 4 hour line. I could never handle it, the thought gives me an anxiety attack, but hopefully this will be better

Yes, Macy’s website said it was to reduce wait times. But time out said that there would still be a longer wait for the whole walk through (vs Santa only) even with the reservation. We once got there before it opened and waited almost 2 hrs!

It was the same way last year. It definitely cut down on the wait, but there’s still a line.

Yup it was like this last year and their FB was loaded with complaints about the longgggg wait times

Is this really worth the trip and wait? We're not the wait in line type but we've never been to Macy's Santaland and I'm wondering if it's a must do while they're still little...

im trying to do it now and the only day i can pick is 11/23.


Oh nevermind i can only do 5 days in advance... that seems silly
