Santa took my 2 year olds bottles
and her milk consumption has gone down drastically. I really think she was having ba-ba withdrawls today. She was insane :) Anway, how can I ensure she's getting enough milk. I just keep offering the sippy. TIA!

It's a battle of will..you vs her. I say stand strong and keep offering the milk in the sippy. Perhaps try to use one type of sippy so that she understands that the milk is in that one.
In the meanwhile...yogurt and cheese are helpful. My ped said not to stress it...and at 2 you are even better off with this advice. She'll give in eventually and in the meanwhile just make sure she is getting the yogurt and/cheese.
Good Luck!!!!

She'll go back to drinking more milk once she forgets the bottles. I wouldn't worry about it at all. And they really don't need much milk at 2 years old, so don't worry.

Re: Santa took my 2 year olds bottles
usually when they are off the bottle their intake decreases to about 1 sippy (if that) a day for milk, but they get the dairy they need in other foods they eat.
we add ovaltine to DSs milk, bc he doesnt eat cheese or yogurt, so he gets 2 of those a day

Re: Santa took my 2 year olds bottles
just keep offering it. And supplement with yogurt, OJ with calcium, cheese, etc.
DS was taking about 24oz when he was 18 months and still using the bottle! Now at 24 months I am lucky to get 12 oz a day..>yet some days he will have 3 glasses.
Its normal for hte consumption to go down at that age.

Re: Santa took my 2 year olds bottles
My DD never drank milk once she came off formula / bottle. The ped was never concerned as long as she's getting dairy from other sources. He said 3 servings - so she gets it primarily from yogurt and cheese. Every now and then I can get her to drink a chocolate milk.
Stay strong with the bottle, she'll be ok!!! Good luck
