I say Sanibel. Not sure of where to stay though...I stayed with a friend when I visited. Sanibel is beautiful!!

I've been to both and I say defintely Sanibel or Captiva
The Tween Waters resort is awesome!
and we stayed at the South Seas resort which was also very nice.

and we stayed at the South Seas resort which was also very nice.
South Sea looks great! And very affordable.
Stupid question.
The flights go to Fort Meyers, how do you get to Captiva?

Another vote for Sanibel. You can always visit Marco for the day if you want to...it's close enough.

we drove, easy drive, to the best of my recollection about 45 minutes.
