Does anyone have a good, easy red sangria recipe?
Thanks!

Re: Sangria
My champagne punch recipe is also my Sangria recipe.. with a few changes.
2 bottles of Barefoot Moscato Champagne, 1 bottle of a Pindar Summer Blush, 2 bottles of your favorite red wine, 1 bottle of cran raspberry juice and about 2 cups of OJ. Add about a cup of brandy. Then you slice some oranges, apples and limes and throw them in. Add some grapes and whatever other fruit you want and VOILA.. tasty punch. If you want it sweeter (I think it's very sweet) - add some more juice.

Re: Sangria
red
cheap red wine (I use conche y toro), cherry brandy (fundador or you could use E & J), orange juice, lemon-lime soda, apples, oranges, limes. shot of dark rum.
I let the fruit sit in the brandy and rum (I pour liberally until it's about half way up the fruit mix in the container...definitely a few ounces of brandy)
I pour in the wine and keep adding the juice and soda to taste until I reach the desired sweetness/fizz, then add the fruit/brandy mix.
the rose and white I do similary, except i swap out ingredients.
so it'll be a white (sav blanc) or rose, peach schnapps, cointreau, mango or pineapple juice, lemon lime soda, peaches and strawberries.
same mixing process.
I don't like overly sweet sangria to I use drier wines.

YUM!! Question for you- I've been looking for the Moscato Champagne and haven't been able to find a store with it. Sounds perfect for me Love sweet wine. Love Moscato and love champagne! Where do you get it?

Barefoot is a mass produced wine, so I think a lot of the bigger liquor stores would have it. I get it almost always at the liquor store in the stop & shop center on Main in Sayville.
You can also use Bugey Verdon - another sweet sparkler that can replace soda in your punches. It's fabulous and a lot harder to find but you can get it at Down The Rabbit Hole in Sayville.
