Sandals
Does anyone know if Sandals does anything (such as upgrades) if you have stayed at their resorts a few times? We stayed at the Grande in St Lucia and the one in Antigua for our honeymoon, and now I think I want to go back to St Lucia for our 5 year.
Just wanted to know if they offered any deals.

Yes, we've been to Sandals 5 times. The first time we went back we got upgraded to a mid-level suite.
We got upgraded each time although sometimes we really had to push for it.
For the money they charge, they should upgrade you!

Last minute (days before our trip), Sandals called and we were offered to upgrade to the best room they had (or second best) and a butler. We didn't do it because when they called, they offered it at just over a thousand dollars which was way too much, IMO.
When we got there, I was VERY nice to the lady at the desk -- DH and I made small talk and I asked her about upgrades, if there was anything available. I told her how they called and offered the better room plus butler and I asked "if it is still available, will they consider lowering the price on it?" I explained that although the room we have is very pretty, it was our anniversary and first time to Sandals and we would love a butler/nicer room, etc. if it was reasonable.
Well, she offered it to us for $350 -- TOTALLY WORTH IT - so we splurged.
I mean, just a few days earlier that was over a thousand.
We went from a basic garden view room which was pretty but still -- to a gorgeous private villa with our own plunge pool and jacuzzi. The best part, though, was the BUTLER service - it was SO nice, we were so spoiled!!!

Yes, if you sign up as a signature guest you definitely get upgrades as you visit more resorts.
We just went to Negril, Jamaica in July (our 5th Sandals resort) and were upgraded to a bi-level apt the 2nd day b/c there was paint fumes in our room. The fact that we were returning signature guests, we believe, was what made them not think twice about doing moving us to such a great room.
