Sandal buying time?
Do I buy my girls sandals now in case warm days hit us out of the blue, or hold out a little longer in hopes that how their feet measure in a few weeks will get them through til the end of September?

Sandal buying time?
I've already gotten DD more pairs of summer shoes and sandals than I'd like to admit but her feet grow VERY slow. In fact, she's in a 6 now and I got sandals in a 7 and I'm worried they'll be too big!

I had to because we went on vacation but normally I wouldn't.
It's not like we get any really hot days that would be hot enough to require sandals around here.
Uggs, maybe.

You could if you see a sale, just be sure to buy them maybe half a size bigger than her current size... I'm going to wait another month or so probably.

Dd has a thing about socks  so I’ve been letting her wear her muck luks without socks and with the warm classroom and semi-warm weather yesterday, she got a blister, so now I’m contemplating just getting the sandals to not have the sock argument in the morning. I get her close-toed sandals that barely qualify as sandals.

My kids are still wearing the keens I bought them last year (we wear them for swim). The baby needs a new pair... I get them a little big and can run with them for a long time.

I’ve beeb buying sandals now. I always feel that if I wait longer to buy then a lot of stuff is gone already.

Same. I actually bought some in like February when there was a big sale. I bought a size larger than her current foot size. They are still big on her so I figure by June/July they should be perfect.

LOL by July 4th the fall clothes are out and the summer stuff is on clearance.

I just bought my kids all their summer shoes. A lot of sales are going on now anyway. For summer, you tend not to have to size up too much since the kids aren't wearing socks then, so there's a bit more room to grow.

I feel like my DD has been wearing the same size shoe for almost a year now too.
And all her summer clothes from last year (minus a few that were a smaller number size) still fit!
I pulled out her summer stuff before we went away and was shocked.
But hey, save me some cash!
