San Francisco Must Do's?
We are going to San Fran in February (without kids). Alcatraz is on the list as well as the Golden Gate. Any other must do's? Thanks!

Ghiaradelli chocolate for an ice cream sundae!!!! HAHA the Marin Headlands area on the other side of the golden gate bridge is neat..... and i'm pretty sure Muir Woods or some other parts of the Redwood forrests would't be too bad to get to.

We ended up randomly doing Alcatraz on a rainy night, seemed so much creepier. I would definitely choose a night like that if the weather allows.
We saw a few of the typical tourist things but that tour and all the seals at fisherman's wharf stand out the most so many years later.

If you're into wine, I would take a day trip to Napa Valley. It's about an hour away from San Francisco (maybe even less), and definitely worth it!

We liked Muir Woods. Also did a walking tour of Chinatown which was nice. Ride a cable car. Go see Lombard Street (crookedest street). Walk along Fisherman’s Wharf..we also did a day trip to the wineries in Sonoma.
