San Diego

Anyone familiar with San Diego? We are thinking of doing a trip to Cali the end of this month. We'd do a few days at Disneyland and then a few days in San Diego. It would be me, DH, and DD who is almost 5. We'd want to do the zoo in San Diego but what else is there? I always hear such good things about San Diego and have always wanted to go there.

It's been a while, but I remember we did Sea World, the Zoo, and the animal park (they had a safari truck that got close up to the animals and we fed rhinos and giraffes- it's a special experience thing you need a reservation for). We also went to a baseball game and played golf.

We spent 10 days there with my 7 and 4 year old boys at the end of June. We love it. We spent 3 days at Disneyland, which was more than enough. We went to the zoo, safari park, Legoland, La Jolla and the beach. We walked around Balboa Park for a little bit, but could have spent a lot more time there. We loved the farmers market in downtown San Diego. I only think it's open on Saturday, but it was worth visiting. We also went to a Padres-Yankees game. There's plenty to do and the weather is perfect.
