Samsung front loader or really anyone that has a front loader
We just got a new washer and dryer
So far we love them. I feel like the clothes are really clean. Love the steam and self wash features
But when I do a regular load it takes forever
Normal setting has a time of 59 minutes,I know you add on a bit of time for spin etc
My load has been in almost 2 hrs. Is that normal? There is no extra rinse/spin on
I know it's not the worst thing and I'm not returning them but wondering if this is normal (the time it takes)
Thanks!

We have an LG front loader. It normally doesn't take that long unless I pick a special cycle (anti-bacterial or something) or the load is really big and packed in there.

I have a Samsung and the normal setting says 58 minutes and that's how long it actually takes to run through

We have a Samsung front loader and this has happened a couple of times too. It seems to happen if there is too much stuff in the load. However, if i just push the power button and restart it it doesn't happen again. I'm not sure whether it's a glitch with them or what but it doesn't happen often! Maybe five times in the three or four years I've had them!

I have a Samsung but top loader. It's very sensitive. First make sure the machine is level. Next it becomes unbalanced and I have to shift the clothes around. Try that

I have a GE front loader. If I stuff too many clothes into it, then it takes longer than 57 minutes. This is because it keeps needing to rebalance. It's annoying!!!!

Yup. I'm lol that this is being discussed right now.I can't figure out if it's a glitch or has something to do with sensors when you overload it. The first couple times I thought I was in the twilight zone, like um no way it couldn't have only been twenty minutes ago that I put that load in...
One thing about them is be sure to tell other people around your house to LEAVE THE WASHER DOOR OPEN when not in use. Forgot to tell someone who watched my house when we were away and it took me a full day of washing with vinegar etc to get the musty smell out.
