SAHM's to be...

I am not due until May but I am really starting to freak out about day care options... I just had a melt down on the phone w/DH
I am wondering if there are any other women thinking of being a SAHM after the baby comes and are also willing to consider watching another child in their home. I would love to consider this option for my child when I go back to work in Aug/Sept of next year. It would need to be someone in the Lloyd Harbor/Huntington/Cold Spring Harbor/Centerport area since I cannot travel far for pickup/drop off. I am also open to the option of having someone that is willing to travel from a little further out come to my house with their own child. Like I said, just looking to explore all options at this point so that I am not stressed when it comes time to go back to work. If you are interested or know someone else that might be please FM me. Im no help being out east but know how you feel abt daycare. I was a FTWM and that was always an issue juggling your work and parental responsibilities is tough..but it will work out. I was laid off in Feb so now Im home (wld still be working). If I lived out by you I wld do it in a second! Love babies.

This happened to me too with my first, I became a SAHM. Then this past summer when DS was over a year old I waitressed at night a few times a week just to get out of the house and have some me time and make some extra cash it was nice.
