Safelight auto glass repair
Has anyone used Safelight? I had my windshield replaced twice on an old car and had the full windshield replaced. I called Allstate and they referred me to Safelight. Isn't this the company that just repairs the actual crack and no new windshield?

Safelight does both.
Depending on how bad the damage is.
Both, I've used them for a repair - I would definitely recommend them.

I've used them. They did a good job but took a long time. May have been the timing though.

I didn't experience that (smithtown location). They actually sent a gentleman to my office and it took him 30 minutes at most to complete the repair (no extra fee to come to me).

The no extra fee may have changed - I signed up online to get a chip repaired a few months ago, and they were charging an extra 20 bucks for the 'come to your location' option. It wasn't like I was in the boonies, either - I was 15 minute drive from the closest location.

I had used them before, and there was no fee. So I was very surprised when I saw they had started charging one, especially when they've said no fee in the past.
Sometimes it is definitely worth it, I was just kind of ticked off it was hidden...

Safelight auto glass repair
I've used them.. they came to me.. it was very professional, quick and done nicely. Windshield
I've also gone to them with my car for a broken side window. Punk kids with a soccer ball. They vacuumed out all the shattered glass and did it timely.
I never use insurance for glass, unless I specifically have full glass coverage.

My husband and I have both had the windshields on our cars replaced by Safelight. Definitely recommend them.

I've used them a few times (in NY & FL). Never had a problem. It's great they come to you to fix it.
