Safe Antibiotics Other than Z-Pack?
Has anyone been prescribed any antibiotics other than a Z-Pack? Specifically, for a sinus/ear infection?
I have chronic sinus problems and went to the doctor on Friday because I was pretty sure I had an infection, which I did. I also had an ear infection. She gave me a Z-Pack which I've taken previously while pregnant, but I don't think its working. Prior to being pregnant, I've had very bad sinus infections which have required stronger antibiotics or for me to be on them for extended periods. I also don't feel like my ear infection is clearing up either.
I am going to give it another day before I call again but has anyone been prescribed an antibiotic other than a Z-Pack while pregnant? Thanks!

I was prescribed Augmentin for an ear infection when I was pg with DS.

I only know that levaquin is not approved for pregnant women - of course it is the only thing that helps my sinus infections

anything catagory b is safe
