Sad Working Mom
I took DS to the playground this morning before work. We were having such a good time. As I left, DS was bawling his eyes out and it made me cry.
When does it get better?

Re: Sad Working Mom
It gets better on the whole but unfortunately you will probably always have those moments where it rips your heart out I don't get to see DS on most mornings and on the rare occasion that I can (if I have a late meeting or something) we've realized it just makes it worse for him because he gets so upset to actually see me leave that we try to avoid it. It really stinks

Re: Sad Working Mom
DS will be 2 next week and for me, it comes and goes in waves.
There are weeks where he is hysterical each and every day, and it breaks my heart and then there are weeks when he gives me a big kiss, waves at me at the door and sings "bye-bye mommy, love you!" happily.

I dont know, but reading your post made me tear up. I really hate going to work in the morning, and leaving DS.

I don't think it ever gets great, just is bearable. I hate it. Wish I could do anything to just work part time, but it's not in the cards for me right now. Just know that you are not alone. And also know that your DS loves you no matter what
