SA Question
I'd like DH to go for a SA. Does this have to be through an RE or can he get a referral from his PCP to see a Urologist.
Thanks.

Re: SA Question
Depends on your insurance.
My OBGYN gave us a script for my DH to get it done (she said his primary dr. could have given it to him as well) But with our insurance, Oxford Liberty, They wouldn't allow it. I had to be seeing an RE for him to get the SA done and my RE did it.

Re: SA Question
My DH got a script from the urologist, but then had to have it done at the RE because the urologist does not have the equipment to do a full workup.

Re: SA Question
My DH got a rx from our PCP. He just called and said he wanted to do a SA. My PCP wrote a script, DH went to pick it up, and then DH researched places to have it done.
Good Luck.

SA Question
Thanks for the responses. I'll have DH check with the insurance to see if he can just get a referral from his PCP since I don't have an RE... yet.
