We are going to be in Westchester for a graduation party and wanted to make a weekend out of it with the kids.
Rye playland- good for kids ages 2,6, and 8?

I know that you have to pay an admission fee as opposed to buying tickets for the rides. THe admission can be $$.
They say kids 2 and under are free but that's only for 3 rides with a paying adult otherwise it's $20 per band and $30 for adults that want to go on rides. Spectator is $10 for no rides.
Minimum height requirement for kiddie land is 36 inches for most rides.
According to their wedsite kiddie land has 21 rides.
Here's the website for more info:

Re: Rye Playland
I think those ages would like-- there is a kiddie section that has smaller ride. I think if they are over 36" they can ride some rides alone-- but some an adult has to go on.
You can get a spectator pass for an adult that is not going on the rides with the kids-- and then like a 20 ride pass I think for the ride going adult and child.
Food is not so hot there-- but there is a carvel. It's clean, but I am not sure I have been to the bathrooms and have not been since DD has been potty trained.
