Ryan is a little OCD

Seriously, he lines up all his toys, places ALL of our shoes - any shoes that are "out" he will put them away neatly side by side under my bed. He took the babysitters shoes and put them there "away". He transfers his food from a plate to a bowl and back again constantly. He has to have TWO of everything - 2 sippies, 2 blankies etc. if he sees more than 1 he has to have the other one (like to be "even") His dad is a little freaky like this but otherwise normal (ish..). I don't think it's a big deal but in a 22 month old I have to wonder what the heck? Any little spec of garbage on the floor he will pick up and run to the garbage. he is just so darn neat for a baby it's really weird. Anyone else's DC like that? the Dr. said "A little OCD, is he?" and laughed it off. He is developmentally great otherwise, speaks in 2-3 word sentences, great eye contact, sense of humor etc.

Bella has some of these tendencies as well. Closing doors...
she is a freak about it.

Even in her clubhouse, she closes the half door anytime she goes in or out....even if she is going right back in after coming out

Specs of anything on the floor MUST be thrown out immediately, and lord help the world if her shirt gets dirty

Her nighttime routine is IN STONE...with two covers (no matter what the time of year) the way we say goodnight, kisses, hugs, etc.

She is also a very outgoing, on target, smart child. Just a little OCD bonkers

Steven does the SAME as your Ryan! He lines up EVERYTHING. Socks. Shoes. Toys. Snacks. Juice boxes. Every single thing, he lines up. He even lines up his things in his crib. And his pacifiers.

Oh I forgot about the doors - he has to close EVERY door upstairs before we can go downstairs for breakfast. I feel better now knowing other kids are so "particular" as we like to call it. haha. At least he will keep his room clean when he's older....
