RVC - The Tudor co-ops

Anyone familiar with them? I like the building and it is 2 blocks to the train. Just wondering why they are the least expensive it seems?

I dont know too much about them but when we were looking for co-ops a couple of years ago, I remember hearing someone say that the building was having financial issues.

Lovely building but pretty close to a sketchy area of town.

That is a nice building and has been there for a long time.

The location is a great, walking distance to the train and to the restaurants.

It maybe be less expensive since they built new properties not far from there.

Re: RVC - The Tudor co-ops

My good friend has lived in the Tudor & is active with the board for over 6 years.
She has a 1 bedroom, 1 tiny bathroom.
Her bedroom doesn't have a closet. The unit has a really nice layout, its spacious I think. the building has a cool vibe & a pretty good sense of community. She has been very happy there.
I know there were money issues with the association, but as far as I know they repaired the roof & resolved most of the issues. Its an old building with a young co-op association so its always going to be complicated.
I've been there so many times day & night-I have never seen anything sketchy there. She walks around at night all the time.

seriously? do you live in the town? do you even know what you're talking about?

the 'projects' there are HARDLY worth even mentioning as far as safety in the area goes.
Please.

I lived in RVC for 5 years and NEVER heard of anything going on there.

The Tudors is a great building - i looked at apts there myself. And you've got Homegoods across the street Chat Icon

I grew up in RVC (21 years) and my family still lives there...and "sketchy" it is not. My mother lives down the street from there, it is a NICE area. There is one on Maple Avenue if that is the one you are talking about.
