Runner for stairs - cost??
Hi there,
Can someone please tell me how much a runner for your stairs costs? We are refinishing our floors but the stairs are in disrepair and we want to disguise them, but do not wants w/w carpeting.
Considering a runner (with or without the brass rails - which i know can get $$). Just wanted to get an idea of what others paid.
We have 14 steps with a landing in the middle. We will probably extend the runner into the upstairs hallway as well...

we went to a carpet store and had them make a runner from carpet that we chose. I "think" it cost us around $250 for the runner. We picked a burber carpet.
we have a split stair case
