Rug cleaning machine for everyday use?
I don't have an eat-in-kitchen, and my dining room rug is suffering. I'm sick of using resolve and stain removers, and it needs cleaning more often.
DH and I rent a rug doctor machine every 6 months, but I'm looking for something to use every 2-3 days. Could you recommend your steam cleaner/machine?

My MIL purchased us a Kenmore one a few years ago from Sears.
I go through and spot clean certain areas about once a week, especially because we have pets that are big shedders.
I also scrub by hand a lot of times on the weekends, around the edges of the walls and corners.
We have wall to wall carpeting though, which honestly I can't stand and can't wait to rip out in a few weeks.

Rug cleaning machine for everyday use?
I'm so sick of getting down and spot cleaning the same spot between the 2 high chairs. I want to rip it out too  But then the floor underneath would have to be done over.... never ends

I love my spot bot!!! It has paid for itself 1000x over! Between a cat that pukes every other day and my 2yr old getting marker/food/drink all over the rug, i couldn't live without the thing!

Instead of hands-free cleaning, does it have a sprayer/scrubber hose thing I Can use? The spots are in a 4'x4' area

Spot bot. They also sell those pads that go under the highchairs so it might help alittle also.

Yes. I often use the hose for larger areas and on the stairs
Eta: that's a pretty large area to do with the small nozzle that is attached... Spotbot might not be right for you. Maybe they make something similar bc that thing cleans up messes sooo efficiently!

 I have them.... it's in between the 2 pads and the dining room table. I swear I can't get them to stop throwing stuff on the floor! I try discipline and nothing works, They think it's funny that the "doggie" likes their Mangoes and waffles
I swear the carpet looks like a frat house in that section.
I'm going to try it. Thank you so much for the recommendation... I think it's fine a 4' square is doable with a machine for me. I scrub it by hand so anything will be easier than that with my big preggo belly in the way.
I'm gonna ask DH for it for my bday

Has the hose attachments and can do just a small area or entire rug. Worth every penny
