RSONY stonybrook today
so i took my 2 year old Liv to the doc today with me for my bloodwork and sono, and i felt bad bringing her, but i had no choice. I was so happy to see that there were two other sets of parents there with their kids. the kids played and had a great time!!! the whole time i was wondering if there were any lif'ers there lol. i have to say that everyone was great, it was actually fun and laid back! it was great to talk to other people and took that nervous waiting room edge off! and the office staff, and dr bronson were so wonderful and patient! i was so pleased i have to say!
so the results so far: my tsh is a little high, so they are repeating it, might go on synthroid. also, DH SA came back slightly abnormal as well, but not too bad. DH smokes sometimes, and also, he had a viral infection a few weeks before. so he has to repeat it next month. so this month will be another month that we try ourselves, have the post coital, and hopefully the biopsy this month. has anyone's dh had an abnormal SA, and if so what was the fix? also, if he had to go to urology, what did urology do?

Glad to hear it went well so far, and you were comfortable  I was there this morning also, but at 7am. Dr Bronson is great. A family member of mine smoked sometimes also, and had abnormal SA. He also had vericocele. He had corrective surg by urologist and stopped smoking until they got pregnant.

I was there with DH today as well. We had a 945. I couldn't believe how packed it was. I usually go at 645. I waited forever! Glad it went well!
I saw Halfen. Never met Bronson yet

I saw Halfen. Never met Bronson yet
you were prob there when we were leaving!!! we left at 10!! my little girl was the girl who dropped her papers and one of the men picked it up for her! did you see us??? sometimes i want to just stand up and say " ok where are my lif girls???" lol and yes, it was packed!!

Yes!!! She is adorable!!!!!! I was sitting against the wall towards where the kiddies were playing facing the reception area. I'm the one who kept going outside for a phone call lol

My husband had an abnormal SA. His count was 72MM but morphology was 2% first time and 6% second time. His motility was also below 50 for the 2nd test. His urologist has sent him for an ultrasound to check and see if it's a Varicocelle. If the results come back normal he said there's pretty much nothing he can do for him. We'd just have to do IUI's.

Not at all!!! It's nice when the kids are there. Breaks up the silence. It also makes me think about when I finally have a DC and may have to come back to the office for #2 with them
