Rosh Hashanah
Who is working and who is off for the Holiday? I found out yesterday I am off Thursday and friday! Yes i know i am doing this post early'But' I was just curious.

Our classes are cancelled, but the admin staff (me) still needs to report.
However, I'm taking Friday off as my DH and I are heading up o Newport, RI for our anniversary trip. I stll can't believe it's been 1 year married.

Aww Marnie, If I already did not have tickets I'd really love to hear you sing Kol Nidre. In fact, I bet I said the same thing last year.
I am off next Thursday and Friday and like a nice Jewish girl, will be sitting (and standing) in temple wishing I paid more attention in Hebrew school. But hey, I'm going!

i have a track from my audition cd of me singing the janowski avinu malkeinu...
you wanna listen?
tonight is selichot, and it starts late!
the program starts at 10:30 and the service starts around midnight

Although my boss is Jewish the office/company is not closed. I am Jewish and could take the day but I wouldn't go to Temple so I don't feel right about taking the day.
