Room Colors?

We're moving into our new house this month and I'm having a hard time deciding how to choose colors for some of the rooms.

1. The bedrooms upstairs have slanted ceilings and short walls. Do I paint the walls and ceiling the same color? Or do I paint the walls one color and the ceiling a lighter color, or white?

2. the bathrooms are tiled and have colored tubs and toilets to match and they are going to have to stay that way for a while. I need a color scheme for towels/rugs to compliment the existing colors. One bathroom is light brown, the other is blue.

#1 - I think it's personal preference about the slanted ceilings. I'm sure there are lots of people on here that might have pics of these type rooms. For myself, I think I would paint the walls one color and the ceiling white. How low are the walls.

#2 - the light brown and blue bathrooms, the tiles and the tub, toilet, sink are blue or brown? If yes, I would do tans with the blue bathroom and the brown bathroom you could do sage green or slate blue or even pink for the accessories.

Hope that makes sense. If you have any other questions, ask away. Chat Icon

As far as the rooms with slanted walls....I have ceilings like this as well. We have a cape.

We did the top sloped wall the same color as the ceiling and kept the straight wall with color. Pics In Album and I'll be uploading more this week!
