Roman Shades - how to install

I purchased roman shades from JCPenny and tried three times to install them and between three people we can not for the life of us get them to work. They are the savannah brand.

Any hints/clues?

I want to show damn pics of our new bedroom but do not feel right until we have the finishing touch of shades up!

just have to say.... thank you SOOOO much for posting about these... DH and I went into blinds to go yesterday and almost dropped to the floor seeing the prices... these are soooo much more affordable....

oh hell yea JCPennys has great sales on window coverings and they are beautiful but i just can't figure out how to install them LoL i am going to the store to return some stuff tomorrow night and see if htey have a display and see how they have them installed.

Wanted to flag this recall announcement for you re roman shades from JC Pennys.

There was a huge # of them from other retailers recalled yesterday as well, but since you said you got them from Pennys, a special fyi.

thanks for posting, i think i still maybe returning them because i simply can't install them.
