rolling over ?

So DS is 4 months, the other day he was rolling from belly to back like crazy, now he isn't doing it...did anyone else's baby do this? Also he is trying to roll from back to belly, when do they usually do that?

DS rolled from his back onto his stomach at almost 3 months. Which I am still in shocked because that was way to early.

Re: rolling over ?

My DD started rolling from belly to back when she was almost 3 months old. She was doing it almost every day. Now she is 4 months old and she will only do it occasionally. She hasn't rolled from back to belly yet. She doesn't seem to have any interest in doing it either -- when she is lying on her back, she just enjoys everything she is looking at, and playing with her feet, and couldn't seem to care less about going the other way!

My DD rolled from belly to back and side to side at almost 3 months old. Now, she is trying to roll from back to belly. Today she was on her back rolled onto her side and started grunting she was trying so hard to roll over. Chat Icon

Re: rolling over ?

Ava has been rolling from her back to her belly since she was probably around 5 weeks old. It scared the crap out of me! And just yesterday, at 11.5 weeks, so got herself halfway from her belly to her back. She keeps trying ALL day to go from belly to back and I know she'll be there sooner than later!

Re: rolling over ?

Isabella rolled from belly to back at around 3 and a half months. The belly to back she has only done a few times, it's not a consistent thing yet(she started at around 4 months). She'll roll from belly to side and just hang out there. I think it's normal, he's just learning.

Aly rolled from back to belly around 6 weeks!! but she has only done it 3 times or so and she is 11 weeks now. I guess she will do it again when she is ready?

Re: rolling over ?

Bella did it when she wanted to and only then. She did it a few times and went on "strike" for a bit...

They truly will do it on their time, I cannot tell you how much footage we have of her just laying there as we try to coax her to do it on camera...
