You know.. I don't think I have.. but I bet it would be great! If you try it, let me know how it is!
Maybe I'll give it a whirl next time I make it - but it will have to be brown or wild rice because Rob is becoming a bigger and bigger freak about 'clean' food.

ours would be whole grain rice, DH can't have white rice.

it was delicious and SO easy! Although do you add seasonings to it? I think I should've added some more salt maybe (which I did on my own plate)
I ended up having DS & I eating it over egg noodles and DH over brown rice.

I don't know which version of the recipe you followed .. sometimes I am really lame on the details when I type stuff up fast! I use a good bit of fresh garlic at the start. I correct the seasoning after everything is in - meat, veg, tomato. I use salt, pepper and sometimes a bit of red pepper. I also will often throw in chunks of mozzarella - it lends some salt / briney flavor to it. It isn't a really 'spicy' meal - which is probably why the boys love it so much!
