rocking chair
those of you that got rocking chairs, do you keep it in their room, your room or the living room?
its super early for me to be worrying about setting up for the baby (not even though my first trimester yet) but we have new bedroom furniture coming for our room this weekend and i'd prefer to just have that set up as we want it now instead of having to re-arrange it in a few months.
the plan is to have a bassinet in our room for the first few weeks/months. not sure if it makes sense to have the rocker in there too or not. im thinking it may be helpful for nursing in the middle of the night but not sure

We put it in the baby's room. There was no room for it any where else plus, I like the idea of having complete privacy when I nurse.

mine will be in the LR because we wont have space in the babies' room with two cribs, furniture etc. ill probably end up feeding there just cuz it's closer to the kitchen. (2 br apt)

i saw some awesome rockers when i was out shopping with my prego SIL and i thought to myself that when the time comes, i want to get one and put it in the baby's room. there is no room to put it anywhere else. well, there is, but i like knowin gi will have complete privacy to nurse when i have to, i wouldn't put it in the living room because there are too many distractions there...

we're getting a glider for the baby's room... we have a small master bedroom and couldn't possibly fit it with our furniture so it was never a thought. i wouldn't put it in the LR if you're planning to nurse... what if you have company? you might want to be able to get away to some privacy.

baby is in our bedroom.. and somehow we squeezed in the glider as well- figure give me a place to nurse in private, rock teh baby in private. im selfish..

Ours will be in the nursery, but right now it's in the living room bc it's comfy and feels good on my back!

BTDT mom, it started out in the nursery but quickly got moved into the living room.
I should add we have a 900 sq ft coop

We put the glider in the baby's room. We were originally planning on putting it in the living room but we have a cat and didn't want her taking it over.
