Rocker/Glider
I went to BRU and BBB today looking for a rocker/glider. I really liked the glider that isn't your traditional looking rocking type glider. It was a big comfy looking chair (no wood at all) that gliders and swivels. It came with a matching ottoman. Has anyone bought one of these instead of a traditional type glider/rocker?

It is VERY comfortable Feels like an oversized living room chair! It glides/rocks forward, as does the ottoman, and it swivels too left and right.

Re: Rocker/Glider
We have the deutalllier version of that one. I think the one you posted is the best chair. I love ours. DS is 17 months old and the fabric has held up perfectly. I did get it stain guarded. We have the lite beige one you posted.

Re: Rocker/Glider
i want to get one like that (not the exact model, but the same idea) and think i found one. i like the way they look more than the wooden framed ones and i feel like i can use it for longer in different parts of my house (ie not always in a baby room). plus the one i'm looking at has storage in the ottoman and extra storage is ALWAYS a good thing. let us know how you like it if you go for it!

Re: Rocker/Glider
My sister got a similar rocker/glider for her daughter. And she loved it. I was thinking of getting something similar.

Re: Rocker/Glider
I really wanted one like that so that we could use it as "regular furniture" after wards.
But I'm going to BF so I needed the ottoman that had the nursing footstool to prop my feet up on.

Re: Rocker/Glider
I tried sitting in that style and found it didn't go high enough - meaning it didn't support my head. I had to turn my head to the side. And I am not tall!
