Rip in leather?
Is there anyway to fix a rip in a leather couch? I am so upset, I was sitting on the couch with the dog with the door open, and the dog saw something and flew off the couch and in the process made a 5 inch V tear in the seat of the couch. I called a leather repair place and the guy said that since the cushions are attached they would have to take the couch apart to remove that panel of leather, find a new piece to replace etc, etc. and just over the phone the estimate was about $1000!!! I might as well buy a new couch at that price!! Is there a better solution?? Please help!!! Image Attachment(s):

I don't think there is anything you can do...I would call a few different upholsterers
