Returning something from BRU to BBB?

Returning something from BRU to BBB?
Has anyone done this or is it completely, morally wrong?  If it's the same product will it still ring up? 
Just asking, not sure I want to try to do it or not. I know there were a lot of people that would return things from Target, Walmart, etc. to different stores so I wasn't sure?

I've done it when I didn't have a gift reciept and didn't know where it came from.
I know that BBB will take the item back if they sell it.
They will let you know if it isn't their item.

Great! Maybe I'll try it since they carry the Baby gate I was interested in getting and BRU doesn't. Thanks!

I returned everything to BBB if they carried it. Their return policy is so much better and I know they will take it without a receipt.
Because of their return policy, I also shop there more than other baby stores, so I figure it all evens out in the end.

Same here. I don't mind getting a store credit for an item because I know I will use it. I prefer to shop there anyway. The customer service is excellent.

Me too. I guess somehow it is "wrong" but BRU's horrendous return policy "made me do it" lol.
