Returning shoddy product to BRU

My DH and I bought those waterproof mattress covers so we coulkd make the cribs up twice(our mattress has a wtaerproof cover so we'd do mattress, sheet, waterproof cover then second sheet) this way if theres a mess in the middle of the night you just off the first layer.

Anyway-I looked at the package tonight and it says wash before use: machine wash cold, tumble dry low. Which I did. I took it out of the dryer and all the waterproofing was melted making it virtually useless. Of course I don't think I have my receipt as I bought this right after my shower and I don't think it was on my registry. I do have the original packaging. What do you think-think they will exchange it for me? I am hugely pregnant and it is hard for me to get around as it is so I am going to be pizzed if I go there and they do not take it back,.,,

It's worth a try. That really sucks about the melting! If not, I would call the manufacturer.

The right thing to do is to exchange it, but who knows every store is different. It depends if you'll get a good one or not...good luck!

If you're not in the mood to return it, I would just call the manufacturer - they should stay by the product.

Our exersaucer had a piece on it that didn't work - making it 20% less fun Chat Icon but there was no way I was returning a put together exersaucer. I called Evenflo and they FedEx the replacement piece ASAP (now Ryan thinks he has a new toy Chat Icon )

I would call the manufacturer first since it was their instructions and BRU is such a pita to deal with. If they don't help, then go to the store.

Re: Returning shoddy product to BRU

Isn't that a BRU brand?

I would call them and demand money back. Make sure you can trade it in for something... forget waiting for them to send a refund. Just call and tell them you're coming in with it and that you're not taking no for an answer. Then get a replacement.

I heard the Ultimate Crib Sheet is pretty good... That's what I registered for.
