Returning items to Bed Bath & Beyond
Has anyone recently been able to return a broken item out of the box to Bed Bath and Beyond? I know they used to take items w/o a box years ago but now I am not sure if they do. I have a Keurig Brewer that crapped out on me so I was looking to hopefully exchange it.

Last year I returned a shark vacuum that was 3 years old and they took it no issue.

I've heard this too. They assume everyone uses their 20% coupons so if you go without a receipt they will deduct the 20% from the credit.

You can return it without the box but customer service just has to look up upc # or something. They will take the 20% off the refund as well.

This sounds like a great scam! Anytime I want a new Keurig machine, vacuum, microwave or toaster oven I can just go back there with my 3 year old used gross appliance and return it? Brilliant.

BB&B are so good with returns !! They can let look up an item if you bought with a credit /debit card and give you a cash refund or put back on your card??So a receipt isn't necessary

Basically. I did it by accident a couple of years back. My mom got a new Keurig and gave me her old one. It stopped working shortly therafter, so I took it to BB& B, because I assumed it came from there. They took it back no problem. Tell my mom this and it turns out she bought it from QVC originally! I did feel a little bad. But the cashier at BBB said they take back dozens of Keurigs a day anyway.
